Stinson’s Industrial is currently seeking to fill an immediate job opening for Millwrights.

Hours:

This is a full-time salaried position.  This position may occasionally require long hours, nights, and weekends.

Day to day tasks and responsibilities may include:

Installation

• Setting up and aligning new machinery such as pumps, turbines, compressors, generators, conveyors, and production equipment.

• Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper placement and assembly.

• Using precision tools (lasers, dial indicators, micrometers) to achieve exact alignment.

Maintenance & Repair

• Performing routine inspections to identify wear, imbalance, or misalignment.

• Replacing bearings, gears, belts, shafts, motors, and other components.

• Troubleshooting mechanical failures and restoring machinery to working order.

• Performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Fabrication & Modification

• Welding, cutting, and machining custom parts when replacements aren’t available.

• Modifying or retrofitting equipment to improve efficiency or adapt to new production needs.

Dismantling & Relocation

• Disassembling large equipment for repair, relocation, or replacement.

• Preparing and securing heavy machinery for transport, then reinstalling it at the new location.

Safety & Support

• Ensuring all machinery complies with safety standards.

• Working with electricians, welders, and engineers on large-scale projects.

• Operating hoists, cranes, and rigging equipment to safely move machinery.
