Stinson’s Industrial is currently seeking to fill an immediate job opening for Fabricators.

Hours:

This is a full-time salaried position.  This position may occasionally require long hours, nights, and weekends.

Day to day tasks and responsibilities may include:

Metal Fabrication & Repair

• Cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal, plate, and structural steel.

• Repairing broken guards, brackets, frames, hoppers, or machine components.

• Restoring worn parts when replacements aren’t available or are on long lead times.

Welding & Joining

• Using MIG, TIG, stick, or flux-core welding to build or repair parts.

• Fabricating custom mounts, supports, and piping brackets for machinery.

• Performing strong welds on high-stress parts of conveyors, tanks, or production equipment.

Machining & Finishing

• Operating tools such as grinders, drill presses, plasma cutters, shears, or brakes.

• Performing precision cuts or holes to modify equipment.

• Surface finishing and cleanup to ensure parts fit safely and properly.

Custom Builds

• Creating one-off tools, jigs, or fixtures to support production or maintenance tasks.

• Building platforms, catwalks, or safety barriers from steel.

• Designing and fabricating modifications to existing machinery for efficiency.

Preventive & Emergency Support

• Being the “go-to” person when equipment breaks and something needs to be fixed or fabricated fast.

• Fabricating replacement shafts, guards, or housings in-house to minimize downtime.

• Supporting millwrights, pipefitters, and mechanics by producing the components they need.
